>Questions about John Wilkes Booth

When I posted this blog yesterday, I did not expect so many questions from my readers. In general, people have been supportive, which I really appreciate a lot. I assume those who are not supportive are keeping quiet. That’s fine by me! I said I would try to answer as many questions about John Wilkes Booth as I could and there were some funny ones and some very serious ones. Many of them I can answer on my own from the previous encounters with him. Some of the answers I’ve gotten from an intuitive approach. My hope is that I’m interpreting things correctly. If I misinterpret something, I’m sure I will be corrected one way or another. So here are some of the reader questions.

What is Georgiana’s real identity?

Georgiana Tate is the fictional identity of the young lady I have been writing about in regards to her relationship with John, at his urging. I was given a false name because, I think, he just wants people to realize there was more to him than killing Lincoln and a real identity might cheapen the theme. There’s also a theatrical element to everything he does and says, so I’ve already noticed some embellishment and misdirection on his part. I believe Georgiana was Miss Isabel Sumner from Boston. They had an affair in 1864. She was only 16 and he was rather attached to her in my opinion because her affection cooled first and he traveled to her to try and repair their relationship. He gave her a pearl ring with the inscription “J.W.B. to I.S.” and she sent him flowers when he was sick. They exchanged letters when they were not together and there is some indication that she traveled to see him. She fits the description he gave me. There are also passages dealing with Lucy Hale, his fiance after he was with Isabel Sumner. I’m not sure why it’s her that has the focus of the story. Maybe there’s an element of unrequited love on his part. Maybe she’s living out there somewhere now and might read the book, which would fit with his dramatic nature. I don’t know.

Do you know if [Booth] and Lincoln have met since their deaths?

I think Lincoln and John have encountered each other in the afterlife, yes. It’s a situation of trying to communicate to work out issues. They may be finished with each other but that doesn’t mean the individuals have healed their own scars. Healing the self is often the last consideration and very neglected.

Why hasn’t Booth reincarnated yet?

I think John is hesitant to reincarnate. He has a lot of emotional scars. Lincoln is not reincarnated right now either. I think he came and went once since “Lincoln” but I do think John hasn’t returned since 1865. There are many issues going on with him that I have not pinpointed and he has no intention of discussing but it strikes me as some kind of trauma. I think there might be a lot of resentment, regret, emotional wounds, a fear of going through this cycle again, etc. He needs a long break between lives at this time in his journey. He’s damaged and trying to put himself back together, I think.

Did Booth survive the manhunt and live out his life incognito?

This question I cannot answer with certainty. I have not seen John (by seen, I mean dreams and in my third eye while awake) beyond his late twenties, which is how old he was in 1865. That leads me to believe, personally, that he did not live beyond that point and the conspiracy theories are not true. It’s also just as possible that he did survive but he won’t show me that incognito part of his life. I do not feel that he survived and escaped though. He’s so damaged and emotionally scarred that the 1865 incident feels very fresh and raw when he’s around.

Why did he choose you?

I haven’t the slightest idea. That’s what I’ve been trying to figure out since it started. As far as I can surmise, I’m female and sympathetic to him. He does not get along with males unless he’s allowed to be the dominant force and that’s something about his personality that was with him long before he was “John Wilkes Booth”. When I say I’m sympathetic, I mean I comprehend that although April 1865 made him a famous villain, it is only one incident in hundreds of years of life. I believe criminals should be punished to the full extent of the law in order to keep civility in this world and teach right from wrong. John was punished. He’s punishing himself now because he is still very damaged. He needs to heal just like Lincoln does and they need to leave the baggage in the past in order to live better lives in the future. Maybe he sees that I can see beyond the villain. I don’t know.

You said in another life time the energy that became Lincoln had killed whoever Booth was before. Who were they before and what era did that take place?

It goes back to the Romans vs the … uh … Barbarians? They were both Roman soldiers at some point. “Lincoln” was higher placed and not very good at the job. There was some corruption there that led to “Booth” and others being killed unnecessarily to make him look good. It’s been going back and forth between them since then. They’ll eventually make peace, I think. The animosity is not what it was.

About the missing [journal pages]. Next time he does show up, can you please ask him which two members of Lincoln’s staff was in this?

I want to say I saw Stanton on the papers but I had a hard time reading things too. I didn’t get to look for a long time. I was also shocked by the entire incident when I woke up and lost several details, like how we even got there. If Stanton was involved, I feel like it was indirect. Someone else made a comment that he might have known something of that nature was coming but didn’t exactly jump into action to stop it. I think that’s pretty accurate. Again, we have to remember that I believe John was mentally ill, so the rambling angry nature of his last pieces of writing might have jumbled the truth. So while he might have written about Stanton and another man in the cabinet, we don’t know the whole story. In all honesty, my attempts at reading his energy show huge black gaps in the last month or so in his life, meaning his mental illness(es) were very bad and he might have been experiencing gaps in memory.

Is he nice to you?

It’s complicated. Yes, he’s a gentleman but I’m very aware that I’m being used. I’m also aware that he hasn’t learned to behave in any other way in his various lifetimes. He tends to choose handsome bodies and traits that are charming and irresistible because those are skills that he has mastered. I don’t think he’s very willing to stretch beyond his comfort zone. I’ve wondered why I don’t put a stop to the periodic visits too but I think since I’m a “fixer”, I may subconsciously think I could have some positive affect on him. Besides, if he wasn’t a gentleman, I’m quite certain he would be dealt with by someone else.

Do you do seances or summon Booth somehow?

No. I do not advocate seances or summoning. He shows up when he shows up and I don’t think I have any control over it. There have been five total visits since November. Frankly, I find him to be so dominating of a presence in my house that I get exhausted by the time it’s over. Think of trying to ignore a small child who has no one else to play with and breaks things to get your attention when you’re ignoring him. That’s what he’s like.

Have you seen any other famous ghosts?

Just one. I had been told that a certain famous figure will come visit if you ask for it because he’s a people person and enjoys sharing energy. I didn’t believe it, so I tried it, and it worked three times. White feathers have been appearing in strange places since I opened that line of communication (a clue if you really want to try and identify him). I don’t really want to say who he is though.

>Ever wondered about your spirit guide?

As things get worse in the world and people struggle to make ends meet, the prevailing questions people ask me are in regards to their spirit guides, who they are, if they have any messages, and so forth. I believe people look for spiritual answers when the material world fails them but ignore the guidance the universe and spirit guides have to offer when things are going in their favor. This is a mistake. There are often warning signs or different opportunities presented before things go bad that people should be paying attention to as a preventative measure. Most often, I have people telling me, “I had a bad feeling about that,” or, “I knew I shouldn’t have done that,” but they make those mistakes anyway. To break that habit, one should stop and ask oneself from where exactly those “bad feelings” or intuitive knowledge come. I usually tell people in these cases that the voice of conscience throwing up little red flags or telling you certain things is actually the voice of your spirit guide.

The relationship between a person and their spirit guide can be the most deeply personal in that lifetime. This is the soul that knows the most about you and what you’re hoping to achieve with the present lifetime, and they exist in order to guide you toward your lifetime goals. There is a difference between a spirit guide and an entity of protection, however. A spirit guide typically does not intervene in cases of emergency where one’s life is in danger. Those instances are when ancestral entities or angels (if you believe in angels) intervene to protect you if it’s not your “scheduled time of departure” to word death mildly. I describe it as a spirit guide will warn you before going into a dangerous situation or try to make it difficult for you to get there, but if you ignore it and do it anyway, the angels or ancestral entities will throw proverbial weight around like bodyguards unless it really is your time to depart. There are also different types of spirit guides. They can be human souls who are no longer reincarnating (the majority), or they can be totems, animal spirits, or other nature spirits. I’ve seen most people have a human spirit guide and some type of animal spirit guide. My mother has a cat as hers, for example.

A big misconception about spirit guides is goes like this: “My grandmother died when I was a little kid and I think she’s my spirit guide now.” Sorry, but no, that’s not the case. A spirit guide is with a person since gestation and therefore could not possibly be living in the person’s lifetime at all. Spirits of family members departed within a person’s lifetime are just that — spirits of family members. Yes, they check in and visit you, and some may act in roles of protection, but they will not step into your spirit guide’s job description. That position was agreed upon by your soul and the guide’s soul before you were born into this life. In most cases, you have been through past lives with your spirit guide, but rarely do I encounter a spirit guide that has reincarnated recently. In order to achieve that kind of level of responsibility, it has to be a very old soul and most likely finished with reincarnating altogether.

My spirit guide was a Native American in her last lifetime, so that is how she presents herself now. All entities will show themselves in the most recognizable way to you. Her last lifetime was the early 1700s and she was the equivalent of a midwife in the region of what southern Mexico is now. I was a rather young mother-to-be within her community (young for today’s standards) at age fifteen. Unfortunately, I languished in childbirth for a very long time and died under her care, my child dying with me. That relationship of caregiver and patient in my worst moment at that time was what planted the seed for her becoming my spirit guide in this present lifetime, which is so filled with health challenges, including the loss of a child. I have also been very drawn to maternal figures throughout my life such as the Virgin Mary and the goddess Isis. I count my spirit guide among the most influential maternal figures. Her name at that time was Nauwa, which I found out later is a word meaning drum. Calling on her during meditation affords me an opportunity to receive guidance and advice that I would totally miss if I was ignoring her presence in my life.

What Nauwa is to me is a preexisting relationship ready for the taking between each of you and your spirit guides. They are the universe’s way of giving you a built-in therapist and guidance counselor. People who have good connections with their spirit guides tend to live happier lives with a better idea of where they’re going and how to move toward their goals. Simply knowing that you’ve always had and always will have someone on your side is a big relief for some people.

I have been getting several special requests for readings about spirit guides in the last year. For a long time, I was only doing it by special request because I wanted to be sure I was connecting in a way that was helpful to both the client and the spirit guide. Now that I’ve become more comfortable connecting to this type of reading, I have decided to include it in my regular selection of readings on my website. My goal is to help people establish a connection with their spirit guides and then teach them how to maintain a regular connection so that an intuitive like me no longer becomes necessary. The job of every intuitive should be to teach their clients how to awaken their own spirituality. While we do need to make a living, the bigger picture is really about giving the world its own spiritual tools. To explain the two new readings I’m offering:

Who Is Your Spirit Guide – $30.00 & $60.00 price tiers – This reading will give you the name your guide presently uses, a physical description of how he/she presents him/herself, a description of a previous life in which you were together, and any specific messages that might come through for you from them. Additionally, I will begin teaching you techniques to establish and maintain a healthy, conscious connection with your guide and follow up on your progress. Click here to go to the readings ordering page.

Your Spirit Guide Plus Portrait – $90.00 price tier & above – This is a unique reading because it utilizes my skills in psychic drawing, which is related to automatic writing. Automatic writing is the process, or product, of writing material that does not come from the conscious thoughts of the writer. The writer’s hand forms the message, and the person is unaware of what will be written. It is sometimes done in a trance state. Other times the writer is aware (not in a trance) of their surroundings, but the actions of their writing hand. Psychic drawing is the same concept except the intuitive (me) sketches images instead of writing words. So by purchasing this reading, you will receive everything in the Who Is Your Spirit Guide reading, plus you will receive an 8×10 (inches) charcoal portrait of your spirit guide. I can do color portraits but the price will have to be negotiated. A visual image of your spirit guide allows for a stronger connection during the meditation process. >Manifesting your own reality

Posted by Jessica Jewett 2 Comments »

>The Law of Attraction is a practice of manifesting thought energy and intentions into real, tangible results that make your life and the lives of those around you better. Everybody knows about The Secret, which is an overly commercialized version of it that has become a fad, but the principles of manifesting your own reality have been in existence for eons in many different cultures.

It’s not as simple as saying, “I want ____,” and those things drop out of the sky for you. Manifesting your own reality takes serious discipline in reprogramming the way you think, how much effort you put into creating your reality, and doing the daily exercises to reach a heightened level of awareness of your thoughts and actions. Most people aren’t even aware that they sabotage themselves throughout the day with negativity. The biggest obstacle is the process of removing all negativity from your thought processes. Why?

The basic underlying principle to everything in manifesting your own reality is that thoughts are intentions, real things, pieces of your energy, and have power. The energy that you put out into the universe is what comes back to you. Putting out negativity brings negativity back to you. Putting out positivity brings positivity back to you.

In order to reprogram the way you think, you’ve first got to examine the very nature of your thoughts. There are various exercises to really look at yourself such as writing your thoughts – honest, real thoughts – in a journal and then counting up how many negative words you use vs how many positive words you use. Negative words are ones such as: can’t, won’t, don’t, hurt, pain, sad, unhappy, depressed, etc. Positive words affirm your ability to leave a mark on the world that is good and helpful to yourself and others. When you eliminate negative words from your vocabulary, you lessen the unintentional or intentional chances of sabotaging yourself with bad energy brought into your life.

Sometimes we think we’re helping ourselves but the words we chose have hidden darkness in them. For example, I once saw a person trying to use positive affirmations in her day to day life and one of them was, “I don’t want to hate myself anymore.” At first glance, that looks good. However, the words “don’t” and “hate” have negativity attached to them. A truer form of a positive affirmation of that nature would be, “I love myself more every day.” That is truly positive. At first, you may not believe the things you tell yourself each day but the important thing is to get into the discipline of reprogramming the way you think. In time, you will begin to live and breathe positive thinking, as well as knowing you can take action to make your dreams come true. You see, it’s not enough to simply say, “I want ____.” In addition to manifesting those needs through meditation and visualization exercises, you must also take daily action toward helping yourself along. The universe will not reward you without result.

A good exercise to get yourself started is to write down your intentions for the week or the month (your choice). Then you write three steps you can take toward making that intention a reality. Here is an example.

State the intent:
I will be hired in a satisfying job.

Think of three actions to help it along:
I will search online for jobs.
I will consider new career routes.
I will seek advice from friends who are satisfied in their jobs.

Another thing you can do to help focus your energy in a positive direction is to create a vision board, which is a collection of images that represent your goals. It helps the mind during meditation to have something visual to focus on and when you place copies of the images throughout your house or your office, the visual reminders will keep you focused throughout your day. Many people put their vision boards on their refrigerators and use them as desktop backgrounds on their computers among other places. The images you choose can be literal representations of your goals or they can be metaphoric and speak to things that only make sense to you.

Here is my current vision board.

Some of the images on my vision board are literal things I would like to acquire, such as money or the King Charles Cavalier puppy. Other images are metaphoric, such as the ocean waves representing my desire to get over my fear of water or the picture of me with people representing my desire to stay close to friends or Scarlett and Rhett representing my desire for a little romance in my life. Some pictures can be misleading, like the one of Jon Knight might make one think I want him but in reality, he is the symbol of fun and independence in my life, just as the images of the meditating figure and the rosary are symbols of being grounded in my spirituality.

What images can you think of for your own vision boards?
What positive affirmations can you use to improve yourself?
What ways can you alter your thoughts to eliminate negativity?
