Love Me Do hardly caused any ripples when it was released. It was generally considered a flop until more popular Beatles songs were released later. Today, we can look back 50 years and see the beginning of The Beatles’ era. They took musical ideas from less known styles and made them acceptable and popular for the masses, and then grew into the most influential band of the 20th century.
