Most of them came from the Napoleonic period following the French Revolution, however, some of them were remade from jewels belonging to the Old Regime. The diamond and emerald tiara belonged to Marie Antoinette’s daughter who wore it as a grown woman long after her mother’s death. I will let the images speak for themselves.
